Cammie is a marine biologist and Data Manager for the Mission Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve. Her background is in plankton ecology, with specific interest in growth and grazing of marine protists, harmful algal blooms, and monitoring zooplankton within our reserve. She is currently working on a chlorophyll catalyst project to compare in situ and extracted chlorophyll in order to better understand the relationship between them as well as assess the chlorophyll sensor performance. Cammie received a BS in Biology from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 1990 and has worked at UTMSI for Dr. Ed Buskey since 1989.
Cammie is a contributor to the Gulf Coast, Texas Observatory.
