Senior Environmental Programs Representative, Hunt LNG Operating Company

Central Coast, Peru

Bruno is an ecologist from the National Agrarian La Molina University (2008) and is currently finishing a master’s degree in applied Ecology. He has over a decade of experience in development and execution of environmental impacts assessments, mitigation management plans, biodiversity monitoring, restoration, and workshops with communities, in both marine and terrestrial ecosystems of Peru. Since 2012, Bruno has worked as a senior environmental programs representative at Hunt LNG, focused on the application of ecological restoration and environmental management from results of biodiversity monitoring, as well as the application and quantification of the mitigation hierarchy to minimize impacts to biodiversity and ecosystem services in marine and terrestrial ecosystems.

Bruno is a contributor to the Central Coast, Peru Observatory.

The Marine Global Earth Observatory (MarineGEO), directed by the Smithsonian’s Tennenbaum Marine Observatories Network (TMON), is a network of partners researching biodiversity as the heart of healthy, productive, coastal ecosystems, where marine life and people are concentrated and interact most. MarineGEO marshals the Smithsonian’s leadership in discovery and convening power to advance knowledge useful to decision-makers in supporting innovative management and protection of marine life.
